Usually from someone who doesn\u2019t get the audience. Researchers are puzzled by teenage behavior until a detective asks his son. The boy replies: \u201cDad, that emoji means something completely different than you think.\u201d What\u2019s obvious to the youth is invisible to the grown-ups.<\/p>\n<p>In our world, that gap is deadly. If you don\u2019t feel what your audience feels, you\u2019ll miss it.<\/p>\n<p>Why this matters in beverages. Take cocktails. A buyer who cherishes a hand-shaken whisky sour at the bar on Friday night struggles to imagine 22-year-olds drinking canned RTD&#8217;s in the park. Not because they\u2019re out of touch with quality. They\u2019re out of touch with context.<\/p>\n<p>Consumers don\u2019t choose prestige. They choose moments, convenience, and vibe. Seltzers alone are forecasted to hit 26% of category volume by 2026 (Reuters, Curion, Vogue Business).<\/li>\r\n \t<li>92% of consumers pick RTD&#8217;s because they\u2019re easy (Numerator, Kantar).<\/li>\r\n \t<li>In the UK, RTD sales nearly doubled in ten years to \u00a3970m in 2024 (The Guardian).<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-021d4d6 normaltext elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"021d4d6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>This isn\u2019t a niche.
